gear crowns

Crowns are a fundamental element in the construction of gears. A crown is a gearwheel or a larger gear in a crown-pinion system, the teeth of which are designed to lock into a roller chain, a belt or another perforated, profiled or geared element.

The crowns can be used to transmit a rotary motion (for example, in bicycles and motorcycles, as well as in cars and tanks), or to transmit linear motion on a rack or various equipment.
