C.T. Ingranaggi in Cento (FE) is able to produce various types of gears, with a range of tooth types,
on behalf of third parties. Clients may request that which best suits their particular needs.
The toothing of a gear can be:
- external: this is the classic gear arrangement, which provides a radiused form
to the component, with the teeth facing outwards.
- internal: this provision leaves the external edge smooth, with the gears being internal, having the advantage of bringing the parallel axes of the crown and the pinion closer together. For these wheels, the conventionally negative diameter of the crown is considered, since the speed transmitted is equidirectional to that of the conductor.
- lateral: this positioning assumes a gear shape similar to a king's crown.
